Cristina Dorcioman assigned for Solna final

After Teodora Albon having officiated the 2013 UEFA Women's Champions League final in London, it's another Romanian official who may joyfully notice a remarkable final designation in her career: Cristina Dorcioman.

UEFA's Referee Committee, represented by Dagmar Damková and Bo Karlsson at the final tournament in Sweden, has appointed Cristina Dorcioman to handle Sunday's Women's EURO final between Norway and holders Germany. Her group stage matches were the ties between the Netherlands and Iceland as well as Finland vs Sweden.

The 39-year-old, who only joined the list of referees due to the absence of Greek Thalia Mitsi, will be assisted by Spaniard María Luisa Villa Gutierrez and Sian Massey of England. Finland's Kirsi Heikkinen will be the fourth official.

UEFA Women's EURO 2013 - Semifinals Appointments

UEFA has officially announced the appointments for the 2 Semifinals of Women's Euro 2013.

Esther Staubli from Switzerland will be in charge of the 1st Semifinal between hosts Sweden and Germany tomorrow at Gamla Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg. She will be assisted by Maria Lisická from Slovakia and Judit Kulcsár from Hungary while Kirsi Heikkinen from Finland will act as Fourth Official.

The second semifinal between Norway and Denmark has been assigned to Ukrainian referee Kateryna Monzul. She will be assisted by her compatriot Natalia Rachynska and Lucie Ratajová from Czech Republic. Katalin Kulcsár from Hungary will act as Fourth Official.

UEFA Women's Euro 2013 - Referee Appointments

UEFA has announced the first referee appointments for the starting games of 2013 Women's EURO that will be played in Sweden. Romanian Champions League final referee Teodora Albon will take charge of the official opener between Italy and Finland, while World Cup 2011 and Olympic Games 2012 final referee Bibiana Steinhaus has been assigned to officiate the unofficial opener between hosting nation Sweden and Denmark.
